8 kilometers away, located slightly above Grossarl, there is a small farming community called Huettschlag. The town is at 1,020 meters above sea level and has shared a portion of the Hohe Tauern National Park since 1991. It is a great starting point for exploring the park with its unique natural wonders and stunning mountain backdrops.
